PSYKOnz Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) Hey guys, I’m currently trying to find a way to make a monitorsetup that has both options for pilot and rio seats, is there a way to set it up so when I’m in the pilot seat I can see all relevant displays and then when I jump into the rear pit it shows me only the rio displays? At the moment it just displays everything at the same time and both seats displays just overlap any ideas? Edited September 25, 2021 by PSYKOnz Tomcat, Tomcat über allen
Stewmanji Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 Someone might correct me, but I don't believe there is any way to setup your monistorsetup to handle both the front seat and the back seat at the same time. Instead, I think you need to create separate files and then load the one you want depending on what seat you want to be in...in other words, no hot-swapping mid-flight. Hangar: A-7 | A-10C | AV-8B | F-14B | F-15C | F-15E | F-16C | F-18C | KA-50 | Mi-8 | SA342 | UH-1H
Pak1979 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 I recently created a combined profile with Pilot and Rio views. When I switch between the Pilots and Rio, the views of the Rio are switched to. But this only works incorrectly because the Pilot views are still displayed behind them. And the views overlap. It shows all of them at once. So that you can no longer see anything properly. So I have created 2 individual profiles, as there is no other way.
PSYKOnz Posted September 26, 2021 Author Posted September 26, 2021 Yea that’s what I had to do as well, I’ve had that set up for a while now, I was just hoping that there was some way by now of doing it, but as you have had the same issue and used the same work around I guess that’s all we can do for now, it’s a shame tho, cause it really sucks having to go through the whole change monitor set up then restart dcs thing just to get it to go. First world problem really tho haha Tomcat, Tomcat über allen
