Say fuel state

I’m sure this has been brought up before, but I’ll do it again.
 
As DCS World is evolving into a simulation that is more in line with better graphics, more modules, immersion, ATC, etc., why cant we ask our AI flight group what their fuel state is? It’s always a guessing game if a refuel should or should not be done. Why can’t the player have a factual number? It has been this way for a decade now. Why can’t this be a reality?
