markturner1960 Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Hi, I fly the hornet and have recently started getting an issue whereby I can be 20 or 30 minutes in to the mission and I will lose all throttle and joystick inout, IE, nothing they do is transmitted to the jet. If I swap role within the mission, its all OK, so I dont need to do any hardware re setting etc.....If I bring up the controls input widget, nothing moves there.... This is random and does not happen every flight, maybe 1 out of 3..... Any ideas? System specs: PC1 :Scan 3XS Ryzen 5900X, 64GB Corsair veng DDR4 3600, EVGA GTX 3090 Win 10, Quest Pro, Samsung Odyssey G9 Neo monitor.

rob10 Posted October 3, 2021 Posted October 3, 2021 Check the power setting on your USB's and make sure they are set to NOT turn off power to them when not in use.
markturner1960 Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) Thanks, I have found out that its possibly a mission related thing - Our squad training mission in the NTTR ( which is where it happens) is likely the culprit, some squad mates had the same thing happen, but only in single player..... Not sure what in th emission could do this and how, but thats where I am currently....... pretty sure its not the USB issues as you can swap roles in the mission and everythings fine...? Yes, but (and maybe I'm wrong, my USB knowledge doesn't run that deep) it could be that when you change roles the computer is "polling" the USB devices and thus waking them again.
