Zoom in/out with keyboard and looking around with Track IR

I read somewhere you could use keyboardcommands zooming in/out in the cockpit without using Track IR? I have Track IR, but somehow I want to use the keyboard to zoom in/out as it is more "fluid" . Can I just disable zoomaxis in Track IR and then map keycommands for zooming out/in? Anyone? I find zooming in and looking around in cockpit to be somewhat crapped as my head tilts down away from IR cam... I feel using the keyboard to zoom in/out, and then look around with Track Ir to be more fluid!?

of course u can!

just turn of the zooming axis in the track ir software (i think it "z", but not sure)

lockon zooms with the "x" and "/" on the numlock keypad, back to normal is enter!:)
