Joystick yaw and throttle not recognized

X52 joystick

Hi Everyone, DCS won't recognize the throttle and won't let me bind to thrust within Axis Assign & won't recognize rudder. All other buttons and axis's work. Everything initially worked but, now it doesn't when I first got the joystick a couple weeks ago.

 

Funny thing, it works just fine in windows controllers properties, all axis are nice and smooth. But it will not recognize in DCS or IL2.

 

Something is not right, how is it working in windows controller properties but not in games??
