Hi,

Due to a new computer i had to reinstall from scratch, on my previous rig  i had dcs_bios /dcs world connection running smoothley.

on my old  pc DCS world was installed on partiton D and dcs bios on partition c, thing where running fine.

My new installation has dcs world on partiton F and dcs bios on the c drive. Unfortunatly DCS Bios virtual cockpit connection stays greyed out.

Ive tried searching the net and forum for a silution but nothing comming up, does anybode has a pointer to what to change or what goes wrong.

Thanks in advance

Which "fork" of DCS-BIOS are you using?

I don't remember if it's the same for the Hub version, but the FlightPanels Fork has a folder called "socat" in the "programs" folder under the main DCS-BIOS folder.
In that folder are two zip files that contain the socat files for 32-bit or 64-bit.  You need to unzip the appropriate version into that socat folder.

I got it running.

I had to add a chrome extension which i totaly forgot about.

  1. Install Google Chrome

  2. Copy in the AddressBar chrome://extensions/, check "Developer mode" top right corner.

  3. Click "Load unpacked extension…" and choose your "C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\DCS-BIOS\doc" folder

  4. A new extension "DCS-BIOS Control Reference Live Preview" will be visible under "Apps". chrome://apps/

  5. Exit "Settings"

  6. Start DCS, load a Mission and jump in a Plane

  7. Click "Apps" in your Browser. Your DCS-BIOS extension be there. From there you can see the controls change as you fly and manipulate the cockpit.

Thanks a lot for pointing me to the DCS_BIOS flightpanels.
