Yes I built a sim on a bed frame with a 3 projector curved screen system, more specifically an F18 sim on the back of another sim (Cessna 172) that can rotate based on which I choose to fly.

It all started with building a Cessna C172 sim pit, but my son had introduced me to DCS several years ago and recently got back into it. So I had the idea of building a control panel which then turned into tagging it onto the back of the C172. Being on the bed frame would enable me to rotate the sim based on what I wanted to fly.

I have to give credit to all the pit builders out there that have inspired me to build the pits that I have.

You can see the F18 build here. https://photos.app.goo.gl/zDQ7De4ECZKJ3frdA

Yeah, I thought it was for VR at first, then I finally saw the screen. It is a nice set up. My wife would kill me if I took the bedframe to make a set up like yours. LOL

I suppose you could use if for VR, but my neck can't handle it at my age. BTW, it was an unused bedframe sitting in the basement lol.

LOL, I hear you, I  think from the video I'm probably older than you. I've got an old Holiwood bedframe out in the garage, if I drug that in the house the missus would think I lost my mind after I told her what it was for. On your next iteration of your pit, figure out how to make a large Lazy Susan version....... motorized!. And take lots of pictures of the build process.

Cheers mate
