DCS don't recongize "virtual" axes, as axes (with the Mirage 2000C, using VPC Panel 2)

Hi guys,

I bought a VPC Panel # 2, on this controller there is no axes, but there is still 3 "scroll" knobs (E1 / E2 / E3 TRIM).
The problem is that I would like to bind my cockpit lights on the M2000 to those knobs, but in DCS the lights knobs are in the axis controls or in the ON / OFF buttons only.
But my 3 rotators are not recognized as axes...
I looked in the controller manual (page 14/15/16), and there is a way to transform a digital button into a virtual axis, wich i did with sucess (is work as axes in the VPC Config Tool)  ! But it doesn't work in DCS. Thoses binds are not recongized in DCS.

But with the M2000 theire is controls (binds) that perfectly suited to my small "scroll" knobs : those for radios and missiles volume ("Inc / Dec volume missiles") ... On those specific controls, I can use my 3 knobs "scroll" rotators to all their values. Because each value "increase" or "decrease" the entery and are able to bind in the desired direction (as for a mouse wheel).

Also, that knobs work in the JF-17 for the cockpit light because it is working like the "scroll" of the radio in the M2000. But the light in the M2000 is only working as axes, no increase or decrease bind avalable... :s

So, the question is : how to create a new "interior cockpit lighting" binds compatible with my scroll knobs (therefore Increase / Decrease) for this lights in the M2000 ?
Can we "configure" bind entries in DCS (using .lua files for example) ? Or any other ways ?

Notice that i did read this post and tried all the "tricks" from, and it's not working :

I didn't create this topic in the VPC section, because everything work well in the VPC Config Tool and my axes are recognized in the software. Maybe i can open it in the M2000 section but not sure.

Thanks for your answer 😉

Ok, i made a step forward !

I know why the axes was not recongised by DCS...Because it was ! Habitually the axes are automaticaly recongised when we action them. With a virtual axes made with VPC Config Tool, it must be selected manualy. Then, it don't work in game unless you did calibrate it in VPC Config, and then push the axes to max in-game (that was said in the topic i readed yesterday).

Now, i got a new problem...I can only see 2 virtual axes in DCS when 3 are configurated in VPC.

I didn't find solution to this issue already. I tryed to duplicate the virtual axes (in multiple places on the list), and even create "logical" buttons in VPC Config to add the virtual axes on (bases on physical buttons). Nothing. Trying to change the name from "dial" to "axes". And change the type in the button logic part. Nothing. I think i will simply make a concession I will use 2 axes for light and the missing one for radio (wich is recongised naturally in DCS with the Mirage with the dec/inc buttons).

See u 😉
