Command wingmen to attack target from litening pod

Its old and it looks like its only for the A10 data link.  In the video wags is telling the wingmen to attack a particular target he has selected in the litening pod.  Can this now be added for the F16 and F18 please?

I think maybe the Harrier does not have the datalink for this but you can now see the targets in the SA page for the F18 so the AI should use that to see what target you are requesting they engage.  This would make the AI a lot more useful for ground attack missions.  I have always thought we should have a command like attack a ground target with a bearing and distance maybe?

One thing I have noticed is looking at a ground target and pressing . on the numeric keypad padlocks the target.  Then you can request they engage it and it works!  But this is a pain because it locks the view to the target.  Does anyone have a better way to do that?

Asking them to fire the laser would also be nice.
