Hey everyone!

I've noticed some people have uploaded skins with the IR suppressors painted and was curious if anyone knows where they're at on the paint kit.

Also, I assume the answer if that we can't, but does anyone know if it's possible to modify things like fuel tanks and have them show up with specific skins only?

Thanks!

The IR suppressors are not part of the template last time I checked, but look for mi-24p_evu.dds.

You don't have the various layers, but without too much effort you can approximately extract the dirt and non-paint colours to put over your livery.

Clarified I'm referring to the suppressors.

Thanks, Benom! I assume that same texture just gets used across all Mi-24's in that case?

Edit: To update, I asked Bignewy on the forums, and he talked to the Hind texture person(s) and was told that they are planning to add the IR suppressor in the future, but that there's no current ETA on it.

That's good news about the template!

In the mean time, you can edit a copy of the dds file and include it in the same folder as your other livery textures. That way it doesn't affect any other liveries.

Make sure you have the following line in your description.lua file (assumes the file you added to the livery is still called "mi-24p_evu.dds") :

{"mi_24p_evu",	DIFFUSE, "mi-24p_evu", false};

That's awesome! Thanks!
