He told me they had someone in the Sqdrn that had been an artist for Disney that did the nose art for them. Dad was the G.G. Smith listed as Crew Chief in the photo with the pilot. On the side opposite the nose art, they had my mom's name done in large script letters. Marietta. I've got a photo of the name on the nose somewhere, but haven't found it yet.
