cfrag Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 So maybe I stepped away from the A-Hog for too long, and now my goldfish brain is mixing fond memories with the Charlie - but... I'm writing aa A-10A mission for my godson and am integrating some ground-based lasing assists so he can get some more fun out of the mission (don't judge). All pretty basic stuff I thought. I verify in my C, everything works. So I go back into Lua, change the laser code to 1113 so that the A can see it (as I remember from days way back when), and change the C airframe to the good old A... Only to find out that in loadout, the A-Hog can't equip LGB. Now, before I check myself into mental - do I really misremember the A having been able to deliver those MK-82 LGB (GBU-12?) before and the non-standard 1113 code? I thought that was something I was able to do long ago, and delivery was automatic, just fly the diamond that appeared on your HUD. I seem to distinctly remember doing that a long time ago, before I got the 10C. What am I doing wrong?
cfrag Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Thanks, @=475FG= Dawger - so I browsed back some years, and it seems that at one point, the A did support GBU-12 (in reality). A pity ED took it away (if they ever had them). Let's hope that they find it in themselves to add it (in again), the A-10A can be a great asset in JTAC ops if they do. Bad news for my godson, though.
