Give firing authority back to the Pilot

Hey Apache pilots and ED,

 

I can't seem to be able, when flying solo with Georgie, to get the weapons authority back as soon as I configure George to use them.

 

Example:

-I'm in flight, A/S armed and ready to fire, I ask George to WAS the Hellfires, he does it ok.

-I WAS-up to get the gun to be able to fire it, checkboard appears, if i press the trigger (within constraints), nothing happens

 

Same goes for rockets. I tried switching to the front seat and un-WAS, doesn't work either.

 

What am I missing here?
