Theloaf Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 Last night, I somehow did something (no idea what) that would not allow me to see the CPG "hatched cross" symbol. This made it impossible to issue to "slave/look here" command to George. He could find targets but I was unable to see what he was looking it. Any idea what switch or setting I changed?
Solution tech_op2000 Posted March 27, 2022 Solution Posted March 27, 2022 As Pilot, the dashed cross (cued line of sight reticle) is your acquisition source. To see where George is pointing the TADS you want to set TADS as your source.
Theloaf Posted March 27, 2022 Author Posted March 27, 2022 Assume I'm dumb/new, How do I set TADS as my source. I know how to pull up TADS on the MFD and do have that pulled up.
tech_op2000 Posted March 27, 2022 Posted March 27, 2022 (edited) on the WPN page or TSD, on the right bottom. you will see ACQ. click it, then select whatever source you would like. Casmo Has a great video on this that he just released. It is from the Gunner's perspective, but much of the ACQ info is similar for the pilot. Some notes not covered there - The pilot will always see his ACQ source. -The gunner will only see it if he slaves his sight with the slave button Edited March 27, 2022 by tech_op2000
Theloaf Posted March 27, 2022 Author Posted March 27, 2022 Thanks I'll have to watch that. I'm sure I hit the WPN switch and messed something up.
