RvEYoda Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Ok so I took off and escorted my group of friendlies.. First time I engage the enemy ambush and take em out, only to have my AI wingman bang into me while im firing rockets. second time im flying pretty straight, call trail formation, about a minute later i start turning (slowly) right.....and out of my 3-4 o'clock my AI wingman bangs into me....once again. Now I've lost this mission twice in a row....is it normal for the AI wingman to crash into you if you make slow turns? should you call wide formation straight on takeoff? I know my flying is rather crap...first chopper I ever fly and only been doing it for a few days, but still...this went fairly smooth up until I got assymetric blade numbers :P How could he crash into my 3-4 oclock if I call go trail and I turn right..:helpsmilie: http://data.reservoirselite.com/LockonTracks/wtf.rar - here is a track of the second time (in a row!) this happens :pilotfly: S = SPARSE(m,n) abbreviates SPARSE([],[],[],m,n,0). This generates the ultimate sparse matrix, an m-by-n all zero matrix. - Matlab help on 'sparse'
slug88 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Odd, I haven't experienced this once in a month of flying. Perhaps some of the AI scripts were corrupted on install? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Peyoteros Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 (edited) Unlucky... Happen once with me in CSAR mission, but I guess it was my own fault as I was turning around my vertical axis and wingcomp (now its not a man** is he? :D ) crashed in to me... was really pissed off as he killed my pilot... so things like these happens not only with you. Keep close eye on wingcomp! P.S. send your wingcomp to attack the ground targets as soon as convoy gets attacked, it will keep him busy and away from you. Once the E (enemy) is destroyed he will rejoin formation. Edited December 17, 2008 by Peyoteros Almost forgot... "Eagle Dynamics" - simulating human madness since 1991 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ۞ ۞
