Some help installing please

Hi, I recently assembled all my kit for the Viper pit, and so wish to make sure my RS gear is all up to date etc. I used to have both the F16 & F18 grips, however, recently sold my F18 grip as I was having issues using it with the Virpil base I use. I use my F16 grip with an FSSB base. So, in my devices, my F18 grip still shows as a device, I have tried clicking on it and removing it, however, its still there in devices......Presumably, I need this gone, as its not needed, but it still says "paired" in status.....So thats my first issue, how to best remove the old ghost F18 stick? 

I selected bluetooth in settings and tried to remove the F-18 grip there, but it said "remove failed" - I guess because it could not find teh stick, as I dont have it....I feel that the fact its still shown as paired as a bluetooth device is why its showing in devices still? It shows whether I have bluetooth on or off.....Is this a problem do you think or just an annoyance..IE should I try to remove it? Or just put up with my ghost? 

2nd issue is that I have managed to get the grip stuck in the updating firmware centre LED lit status.....I was trying to update the firmware and originally could not get the stick to enter this status. I came back to it after a few minutes tried again and thi stime it did, but now I cant do anything with it .....I tried adding a device as per manual to get the bootloader, but this does not appear in the window to select.....

I have updated to the latest V1.05 of the tools and in that, if I select the F16SG RH tab, its showing "backup" and "firmware unrecognized"
