I'd love to see the NG version - but let's be real here.

L-39NG is a different plane from L-39. It seems L-59 and L-159 are actually more similar to L-39 than NG. I'd rather see L-39/59/159 variant with Western avionics, although you can go for C-101 to get the same aircraft class. Also, L-59 and L-159 have both around 80pcs produced each... NG has 5 prototypes produced, so it seems. That hardly attracts any DCS development.

I doubt the NG variant will ever be part of this module. It's too different from the L-39 original, it's not really used, and it's also too new for that I guess. 😉 I'd rather see a refresh of the L-39 module as it is with the fixes for the bugs we already know about.

I for one would love this. I think we'd have better chances of getting the L-39M1 though. I'm about to go buy this now.

Would love the NG. There are now more being produced, and Vietnam has a full fleet.

I would love that too... I own L-39 module and it's one of my favourite planes (if not THE one). But NG really is a different beast altogether - even when using the time-tested airframe (more or less).

I've heard DCS players trying L-39 talking about an "obscure" or "unknown" plane... now imagine how popular the NG would be. The module would need to be built virtually from scratch, as any other new module, and the market potential is very limited, I'd assume. Even if I'd love NG and buy it instantly, it's simply not enough.

On another note, it's great NG is getting produced, I hope it will continue!

Would be nice if the actual maker of NG put up their models up there. They created a cockpit for training and are using VR to train pilots, and from what footage I saw, it looked like DCS. Might be on their military version of DCS.
