GTOgoat Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 I'm having this odd problem with the throttle on the apache where I can get them out of detent but will not throttle forward. I am using my Thrustmaster warthog throttle for this command and it showes that the full axis is working in the axis tune screen. Now here is where it gets fun. With the apache completely shutdown the throttle will come out of detent and move the full axis (out of detent and to max power) but when the apache is up and running (engines at ground idle) the throttles will no longer move. What I have discovered is when I turn the battery on the throttles will no longer move out of ground idle unless I turn the battery switch off. I have tried other sliders to operate the throttle but still have the same problem. Maybe I need to try a different switch or style of switch (rotary knob)?
Astralnut Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 I have the issue with the throttle that seems to reverse the axis when moving it forward. I checked the DCS profile and it was set to slider, but the throttle continues to go backwards as I am rolling it forward. I have tried inverting and uninverting and changed it in joystick gremlin but nothing helps. Also I found in the quick start missions my rudder is completely ignored. I tested my Virpil collective, joystick and rudder all in DCS world and beta and it all worked just fine even better than my old Pro Flight controls with the HUEY but the AH64 has got some kind of gremlin in it that does not like my helicopter controls.
