Expectations from a single core...

I would like to know if anyone can estimate whether I will be able to enjoy this sim with my current setup. I mean smooth flying with med-hi graphics. By my FSX standards, I consider smooth to be ~25fps.

 

Dell GEN 4-

P4 hyperthreading 3.6Ghz

2GB RAM (STOCK RAM)

BFG Nvidia 7800OC 256MB RAM

Monitor maxes out at 1280X1024

I'd bet you can run it @ 25fps, however it won't be very pretty @ that resolution.

 

Also your GPU might have hard time.

 

Processor is fine, thats actually faster than most you get nowdays.. Ram is ok too, but if its stock its not the fastest out there :)

 

 

OT: Cedar Mill pentium 4's can clock all the way up to 8ghz, and thats 16 G H Z as Dualcore ;)
