mcisprinter Posted August 9, 2022 Posted August 9, 2022 I've been trying for a few days to get the VIRPIL collective and stick setup and still having a miserable time doing anything not related to flying. Fully setup for flight but anything that has to do with targeting, TEDAC etc is not working, I feel like I am missing something. Does anyone have a binding config they can send me? thanks

I use a Virpil Sharka on the Plus base, but use a Thrustmaster Warthog for the cyclic, and then I have a left and right hand Constellation for the TEDAC controls.
Toaster003 Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 Firstly did you set the controls up using the VPC Configuration tool? If so, did you make profiles for the controllers (Joystick and Collective). You basically need to tell the programm which base with what grip you are using. And at last you are able to check if all buttons work with the VPC configuration tool. If they do you should have no trouble by binding your controlls in DCS. I hope that helped.

I got this far but wondering why Windows USB devices tool only shows 32 buttons and leaves out the entire base panel. I had to update the Firmware of the CM3 in order for windows to even recognize the throttle buttons and the TDC AT ALL. Now the calibration shows the wonkiest numbers I've ever seen. I did study electronics in school and even though I was able to get to the point where I could test these buttons I think this is ridiculous. They need a proper product manager that tells them how to make things for users. I've never seen what amounts to a desk toy be so overengineered!!
