Hi

For unknown reasons I'm experiencing some weird issues while playing mission 8 in VR. I've completed missions 1 to 7 whithout any problem but, I don`t know why, after a few minutes of playing mission 8 a strange faded stripe appears at the bottom of the VR headset, accompanied by  a tremendous lag that ultimately makes the mission unplayable. I've tried with other modules and other missions and they work perfectly, so it seems like it's only this mission the one that causes the issues...

It's a shame because I was really enjoying this amazing campaign...

Anyone could please help me?

What headset are you using? Is it a Quest 2?

If so then I've had that happen to me before and I fixed it by lowering my encode bit rate in Oculus Tray Tool. I was initially running at 500 but setting it to around 350 seems to be the sweet spot to stop it, at least for me anyway. This number might change depending on PC specs and how demanding your PC finds that mission.

Hi Gribbstar and thanks for your reply...

Yes, I'm using a Quest 2, but I don't use Oculus Tray Tool...

Anyway, after reading your post I remembered that before playing the mission I had received a warning from "windows defender" indicating that something called "memory integrity" was not activated, so, given that warning, I entered "windows defender" and activated it.

The facti is that after deactivating it again, the mission has worked perfectly and, once I newly have activated it, the mission has had lag and desynchronization problems again, so finally I have left it deactivated, at least until I manage to finish such mission...

Why such thing happens? I really have no idea...
