palerider37 Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 (edited) If you enjoy DCS and want to learn more and possibly participate in the “multiplayer” aspect of the game but don't know where to start, I’d like to tell you about the Wolf Pack discord community. We are a group of DCS and aviation enthusiasts based out of the US with active members from across the globe in nearly every timezone. Wolf Pack membership requires no training or set schedule and anyone who joins our Discord has full access minus admin areas of course. We are not a squadron, rather a community of over 12+ servers made up of every aspect of DCS from WWII PvP/PvE missions to our Modern Jet Competition team. We just stood up an A-10 Unit “Mud Movers” that schedules weekly training. Come check out their #weekly-training-syllabus for more details. We also have a “Liberation Campaign” mission every sunday. We host a modern jet mission on Thursdays open to anyone, no training required. I could go on as there are too many activities to list them all. We are very fortunate to partner with Whiskey Bravo Simulations who is hosting a 24/7 mission called "Operation Inherent Resolve". This is a mission modeled after the real world operation in which Combined Joint Task Forces were attempting to eliminate ISIS from Syria and Iraq. In the WBS rendition of the operation, CJTF pilots will fly both logistics and close air support missions in an effort to assist Syrian Democratic Forces in eliminating ISIS from parts of Syria. Check out #info in the WP 03 - WHISKEY BRAVO section for server and password information. As I said we are a DCS Community, so if you are a member of another DCS group we’d love to hear from you. Stop by and tell us about your discord and share a link in #introduce-yourself. We would love to collaborate with other DCS communities and Squadrons. All are welcome to join, we just ask that you are respectful to others. -Wolf Pack US 02 - Warbirds- Mission: PvP/PvE Base Capture Map: Normandy Notes: https://youtu.be/DWkkZ-zgc7M -Wolf Pack US 02.1 Warbirds Training PvE 24/7- Mission: PvE Map: Caucasus Notes: Learn to fly any WW2 module without the threat of getting low sixxed. No WW2 asset pack or WW2 map required. Go grab a piston airplane on trail with no commitment and give it a try here first. Hit the range or practice A2A against unarmed AI. -Wolf Pack US 03.1 - Whiskey Bravo- Mission: Operation Inherent Resolve PvE Map: Syria Notes: The Wolf Pack is proud to partner with Whiskey Bravo Simulations, who is hosting a 24/7 mission called "Operation Inherent Resolve". You can fly any role you like, and if you are on your own, you can use the radio menu to request support flights of AI planes to assist you. Most modules have been included. You will be flying against the Syrians, who are supported by Iranian forces, and the Russians. -Wolf Pack US 05 - Mission- Mission: Jet Golf PvE Map: Nevada Notes: Challenge your friends to 18 holes of visual bombing, with automated scoring on the Nevada Test and Training Range. Great for keeping those skills up, while engaging in a bit of friendly banter. This mission includes a script which automatically scores your drops and gives distance and direction from bullseye, and keeps a scorecard for your round. This mission includes a script which automatically scores your drops and gives distance and direction from bullseye, and keeps a scorecard for your round. -Wolf Pack US 06.1/2 Noob / Training - Mission: PvE Map: Nevada Notes: Learn to fly any Jet or Helo with spawnable ground and air targets to choose from. -Wolf Pack US 06.3 Noob / Training - Mission: Operation Foothold PvE Map: Caucasus Notes: In this persistent dynamic sandbox, your goal is to move through the map and capture all zones from the enemy. As you capture some areas, you will unlock benefits for your coalition such as an AWACS, friendly air patrols, or new spawn positions. Beware as the enemy will also launch attacks to retake what was once theirs. Air drop troop or supplies with the c-130! -Wolf Pack US 07 - Helo Ops- Mission: Operation Clear Field PvE Map: Caucasus Notes: Operation Clear Field is a persistent, open world PvE playground for the Caucasus map. It is loosely based on the Russo-Georgian war of 2008. This mission uses the same mechanics that Operation Snowfox uses for the Persian Gulf map. The mission will randomly choose targets throughout the map. Helo CTLD included. -Wolf Pack US 08.1 PVP- Mission: Wolf Pack PVP Base Capture Map: Syria Notes: -Wolf Pack US 13 - FOOTHOLD - ALL WELCOME!- Mission: Operation Foothold PvE Map: Caucasus Notes: In this persistent dynamic sandbox, your goal is to move through the map and capture all zones from the enemy. As you capture some areas, you will unlock benefits for your coalition such as an AWACS, friendly air patrols, or new spawn positions. Your CAP, SEAD, and STRIKE skills are in high demand while navigating this contested airspace. Starts off easy and gets progressively harder to complete.
