Hi flew this last night to after the first refuel at padres. I was under the impression that if you stopped at that point it saved? Went to carry on tonight and mission is at the beginning again.......dont fancy another 80 minutes of flying to get to the same point......

Or have I misunderstood?

You have to use F10 menu to select "Skip refuel" before quitting and F10 menu at startup on 2nd start to skip ahead if I understand it correctly.  If you didn't select "Skip refuel" in comm's menu before quitting at the tanker it likely restarted the mission.

Thanks, that must be it then....better steel myself for another session....! 

So process is, fly to tanker, refuel, use F10 to select skip refuel ( seems wierd if you have already done this....?) or do you have to skip the refuel, to get the option of saving and starting at that point in part 2?

I *think* you have to skip the refuel.  I happened to be flying that mission shortly after I saw your original post so I checked it out.  Something makes me think I checked after I refueled and the option was gone, but that was a few days ago and I can't guarantee that.

There are a number of info messages that pop up when you get close to the tanker to tell you some of this, so keep your eyes on that and it may give you better clues.
