Snakeice Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 good morning everyone, after seeing the video on the ladd, a doubt arose. When is it better to use it instead of the DTOS? to the eye it seems to me less precise and more prone to error due to the calculation made by hand. Thank you! Snakeice Nemo me impune Laecessit
Solution Dragon1-1 Posted October 20, 2022 Solution Posted October 20, 2022 It's a legacy mode meant for strictly preplanned strikes. It was originally designed for use with nuclear weapons, but it should work well enough to also loft CBUs. For regular bombs, it's not the best because of low accuracy. Basically, the use case is when you want to follow the exact loft parameters you planned. Otherwise, it's inferior to CCRP (DTOS is a visual designation mode, LADD works off the SPI). 1
Snakeice Posted October 20, 2022 Author Posted October 20, 2022 Adesso, Dragon1-1 ha scritto: LADD works off the SPI). What do you mean with "off SPI"? Thanks Snakeice Nemo me impune Laecessit
Dragon1-1 Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 That is, it uses the SPI, as opposed to a visual designation like DTOS. 1
