Anti Ship Missiles

I cannot get either the Red or the Blue Coalition to fire their Anti Ship missiles at the enemy ships. I have set target points. I have not set target points. Nothing works to get the Aircraft to fire their anti ship missiles. They usually end up getting shot down well within range of their Max Effective Range with the Anti Ship Missile. I even had a Waypoint for the aircraft put right over the enemy ship and it did nothing on ingress but fly straight and true and then turn at the WP and head home.
