Guest SilentSting Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 I've got a NOOB TrackIR question... I think?? I've expeirenced this in FSX as well, but it never bothered me enough flying busses to ask about it. Is it possible to have the pilot's head automatically tilt with movement of the cyclic stick? With my current setup TIR forces the pilot's head to maintain its vertical position unless I move my head with the maneuver. This is obvoiusly rather unnatural as you would expect the pilot's head to tilt wrt the motion of the vehicle. Anyone happen to know a fix for this? Thanks in advance.
Shrubbo Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 Hiya SilentSting, I suppose I have posted here long enough to be able to welcome someone to the board :) Anyway to me it's a bit of an odd question. For example I would expect the head to tilt IF I did not have trackir. But with Trackir I would expect it to only move where I wanted it to.. that's why I have trackir. I would only expect G forces to make any effect to the view. The short answer is I don't know how to do that :) i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S. Thrustmaster Warthog T&S, TPR Pedals.
H-street Posted January 10, 2009 Posted January 10, 2009 i still haven't figured out all the settings but maybe look in the key command at things like F1 - LCtrl F1 Natural head movement view or F1 - LWin Head shift movement on / off
