Connecting and using multiple Leo Bodnar BBI in DCS issue.

I have built a few custom panels for a10c and currently run 3 separate bodnar BBI to connect to the pc.
The issue I run into is that they all just identify as “button box interface” in dcs, ie with the exact same name and no differentiation between which one is which. It seems with each start up of dcs the button allocations also switch around requiring new configuration each time. I can’t seem to find anyway to effectively rename them so they each have their own ID. I’ve seen many people are using these and wonder if anyone else encounters the same or if I’m missing some basic configuration trick?

I seem to remember that there was a way to rename or at least identify, maybe using one of those 3rd party button logging programs. Each has it's own internal ID that is used by the PC to identify it, and I think it uses that somehow.

Maybe check out Bodnars FAQ page, pretty sure this has been raised before

Yeah. I think there's a configuration program on the Leo Bodnar page you can use to change the name.

Look for "Renaming firmware" under "Product downloads".
