I'm asking ED to add the feature of the "PayPal Express Checkout" into the Protx payment options.

Technically, it is foreseen to work as indicated below:

"Protx has integrated with PayPal Express Checkout giving you the opportunity to add PayPal as a payment option on your payment pages!

This facility is available to merchants who are a certified PayPal Business Account holder. If you do not already have a PayPal Business Account, then you can apply for a PayPal account now.

This additional service can be included in your package at no additional cost. Standard PayPal transaction fees apply. Protx will only charge you our standard transaction rates, according to the Protx package you choose."

If ED is not already a certified PayPal Business Account holder, I recommend to get an account now. For West European and US/CA costumers, paypal is a trustworthy, common and wide spread payment option.

I can't see a good reason not to add this option, but many good reasons to do so.

ED, please respond.

Community, please support this idea by posting here.

kind regards,

Raven....

Paypal is to vendors like Youtube is to people who fall victim to flagging campaigns. They'll only listen to you if you are a major player. ;)

My own thought for those that do not qualify for a CC, and do not have friends or family with a CC to lend, would be the cash CC's offerend by some chains like Walmart (equivalent to a cash cell phone card - pay first and spend the balance later). Though I don't know their exact requirements since I live in a country where a debit card can be acquired simply through having a bank account.

Those that select paypal due to worries about data security of their cards on the internet should realize that when you swipe your card at the grocery store it passes through the internet in the exact same manner as with an internet transaction - except in the internet transaction it is YOU instead of a teller you don't know the name of that's punching in the numbers. Who do you trust, yourself or someone you've never met before? ;)

EDIT: One further note about data security: My own cards has the insurance package that is standard for every card issued by my bank: they cover any failed transaction or case of fraud (and, for that matter, insure any type of computer or TV equipment I purchase simply through me using that card for the purchase). Paypal, in that case, is only an extra middleman that takes money from both parties.
