Autopilot toggle binding: Only works for the on position (will not turn off).

Bug: When you bind a button to autopilot toggle, it only turns the autopilot on.  It will not turn the autopilot off when clicked again.

Can I reproduce it 100%: Yes

If not 100%, how often out of 10: N/A

How to reproduce/ description:

  1. Bind a button on your hardware to main autopilot switch toggle.
  2. Start a session in the F-14 pilot seat.
  3. Press the button on your device.  Note that the autopilot switch on the left console moves to the "on" position.
  4. Press the button again.  Note that the autopilot switch does NOT move to the "off" position.

Expected result: Hitting the autopilot toggle button should alternatively move the main autopilot switch between on and off positions.

Note: I've tried this with binds on my VKB NXT and an XBox controller with the same results.  Other toggles function as expected. This has been an issue for as long as I can remember.

DCS Version: OpenBeta 2.8.0.33006 (but had the same problem on previous versions)

Yeah, I have the same problem with Autopilot enable binding. I am on DCS Stable by the way, not on Beta.

I reported it one or two weeks ago I think.
