Hint: If you don't use a gamepad - remove it from every key-binding or detach it

If you have a gamepad it is automatically assigned to axis commands to fly any airplane.

I forgot to unplug my gamepad when I played DCS and wondered, why my joystick got centered all the time. Because it doesn't happen before, It took me a few minutes until I figured out that my joystick isn't the problem and it was the axis commands for the gamepad.

So I recommend - if you don't play DCS with a gamepad (what you shouldn't) and you don't want to detach it, make sure it isn't assigned to any axis commands.
