If i want to play DCS in Singleplayer offline on steam, does steam have to call ED servers for DRM? I use both versions, but bought most of the modules for standalone. My question is, what if the ED servers are down or the site vanished for whatever reason, can I still use the steam version? Standalone has an offline mode too, but we have to reconnect an call ED servers if hardware changes were made, or go back to online mode. Does this apply to steam too, or does is use its own servers and DRM and the modules remain accessable although the ED servers were down or vanished. Thats a long term thinking, I have made bad expiriences with games which uses DRM authorization. The company went bankrupt and all my paid contend wasn´t usable anymore.
