KG66Manta Posted January 22, 2009 Share Posted January 22, 2009 Hi I am having huge fps issues with this game for some reason. What do I need to change to tell the game to only use processor 2 only? My thinking is that as this game does not support multi processors (a bit of a joke) I want to have nothing else running on 1 of my four processors. I am running XP, Q6600, 22inch LCD, 2 x 15inch lcd using a separate GPU. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
connos Posted January 23, 2009 Share Posted January 23, 2009 (edited) Alt Tab out of the game after a mission is loaded, open task manager find the DCS32(or something similar) right click select affinity and choose which processor to use. I choose to use both and i get a huge performance boost around 10 fps (from 10 i get 20). You seems to have quad core i recommend in the affinity tab to select all processors available and if you face problems select the last 2. You have to to this every time a mission is loaded.
