Can't uninstall 1.1 demo

Get an "UNINSTALL got an INVALID PAGE FAULT in UNINSTALL.EXE" when I try to uninstall the 1.1 demo. Happens either when I do it through "ADD/REMOVE" programs or directly running unistall.exe in demo folder.

 

Can someone help with easiest workaround? I've had no problems installing/uninstalling with IL2 PF, MSFS 2002 , MIcroflight, BOB, MIg alley, Janes F18. Did I just run intoi a WIn98 comp[atibility problem with 1.1 demo?

Reason ffor uninstall: Demo runs way too slow for my system , so I am content with LOMAC v1.02.
