Ah-64D searchlight

Shouldn't the apache's searchlight be stronger?

I find itvery faint in comparison to the Huey's searchlight.

It is very narrow, and quite dim compared to the Huey. I don't know if it's power (or lack of) reflects the real life searchlight of the apache.
