Mistral missile: Is it possible that they are so easy to fool?

Hi, Gazelle noob pilot here (I fly regulary al the others heli).

I just tried the Mistral version to do some AA and I was amazed on how the Mistral missile are so easy to fool.
On one engagement vs a Hind I shot one Mistral at about 1nm with a perfect alignement (the Hind was head on), the Hind pilot start flaring and my shot missed, it could be ok but the second shot amazed me, as soon as the missile come out of the rail it drive to the already falling flares (that are even out of the gunsight) and so on...
Then I found this video:

 

and after seeing it it would seem that it actually is.

Yep, it was changed to the current state about 2 month ago

We have to look at the new version: Polychop will use ED's Mistral in the future. Maybe you can test this Mistral with another platform and compare to Gazelle's current one?
