Steam Vr Multithreading issue

Since i can only post here for some reason.

I can not get steam vr to work with the new standalone multithreading  i van get it to lunch but i headset wont connect to the game, works fine in the standard open beta  ive made the shortcut with no luck DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR

Same issue for me. Game just starts on a virtual screen inside Virtual desktop. Managed to get it to work in quest link but the game is  not playable due to shutter effect and lags

I resolved this by setting Pixel Density to 1.0 in the DCS VR settings. If I used anything below that, it would show as you described with a VR view on my monitor. If I used a higher pixel density it skewed the perspective to be unplayable. Unfortunately PD 1.0 looks pretty bad for me and still a lot of lagginess on my G2.

Hi,

I had a similar issue but i still can play DCS in vr with my G2. I think it is because i've openxr installed and it seems the MT bin launch openxr rutime instead of steam vr. I take that as a good news personnaly ^^
