Piddles Posted June 18, 2023 Posted June 18, 2023 We are an EST (US) MilSim group that aims to replicate the tactics and procedures of real USAF squadrons within the limits of DCS. Currently we fly the F-16CM (23rd FS) and are ramping up the 391st FS for the upcoming F-15E release. Our training is designed to mimic the USAF process that most fighter pilots experience in their careers, from Initial Flight Training (IFT) in the T-45 (as a placeholder for the T-6 and upcoming A-29 module) to Fighter Training Unit (FTU) in their chosen airframe (currently the F-16C or F-15E). What we offer: 1.) Graduate level training. At the 52nd FW, our goal is mastery of the aircraft systems, tactics, and operation. Our initial courses are self-study, with every aspect able to be explained and taught in detail, from the basics, such as local airfield operations, to the advanced such as ACM, SEAD/DEAD (23rd FS), and CAS w/JTAC tactics 2.) Realistic Missions : Every single flight is briefed, flown and debriefed to analyze performance and learn for the next one. Force levels and Opfor skill is modeled as realistically as possible. Missions are difficult, but achievable due to our extensive training 3.) Camaraderie : We train hard, but we’re all still just a bunch of guys who do this as a hobby and socially we’re very laid back As we’re currently building our IP cadre in advance for the next upcoming class, we are looking for applicants who meet the following: 1.) 21 years or older 2.) Extensive knowledge of DCS, Flightsims in general 3.) A willingness/enthusiasm to teach/mentor incoming students 4.) 50% attendance rate, training nights are Tues. and Thurs. 8:30 EST (US). Some additional time off nights to help with mission planning 5.) A “Milsim” mindset and someone who enjoys the process and the training program 6.) Own the NTTR, Syria and Persian Gulf maps with the applicable airframe module as well for the squadron you are applying for Interested?
