Highwayman8948 Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 TAW JTF-88 With members in both The EU and NA, The JTF-88 community consists of the following squadrons; VMFA-212 Lancers flying the FA-18 RNLAF 313 flying the F-16 4th Aviation Regiment flying the AH64D Apache We regularly operate in joint exercises and missions, all of which are designed in-house by our own dedicated mission design team and hosted on our dedicated servers. The JTF-88 battalion is aiming to be the more realistic and immersive virtual experience in the TAW DCS group while still having a good time making friends along the way. We try to follow real-life procedures as closely as possible in DCS World. We use realistic radio coms and procedures around our carrier, airfield and operations area while having a good time with our virtual flying friends! This type of flight simming is not for everyone as it requires a particular mindset, dedication, and motivation to do it right and seek out the knowledge required for the environment and missions we have made for ourselves. Our missions can be at times long, requiring in-depth mission planning and preparation with regards to operating limits of air frames and procedures. As a recruit, you are not required to take part in our mandatory missions but you are required to go through your squadron's training curriculum to work towards a full membership and mission readiness. As part of the application process, you will be approached by your squad lead and they will do an assessment of your proficiency/abilities to see if you are suitable for joining the JTF-88 squadron you are applying for. Although it might seem like we keep a very high standard we still want people to apply as we have a comprehensive training regime and in my eyes this is where the JTF-88 really shines. So don't hesitate, make contact and we will get you sorted out. Our basic requirements: Owning the Syria and PG map modules. The module of the squadron you apply for. Owning a trackir-based solution or using VR. Being able to perform a2a refueling. Have a basic understanding and proficiency in the module you intend to fly. However, the different squadrons have different requirements as far as mission readiness goes and have different requirements for their selection processes. We have a mature user base so we require you to be over 16. Being able to attend events Thursdays 1930z Winter / 1830z Summer (training event) + Sundays 1845z Winter / 1745z Summer(Mandatory event) If this sounds like something for you visit us on the links below: For more information about the JTF-88: Discord https://discord.gg/tawdcs Message me @Highwayman#4077 JTF-88 Hardcore Battalion – The Art of Warfare (tawdcs.org) Apply online TAW - The Art of Warfare - Premier Online Gaming Community
