Help with flight controller profile

Hi,

 

I have just purchased a Saitek x45 flight controller and am having trouble getting it to work in Black Shark. I have searched the threads and there is heaps on the x52, is this going to be similar?

 

I just want to know how/if I can get the profile I created with the Saitek software to work in Black Shark. I have gone into Black Shark and manually imput just a couple of buttons but they still don't even work.

 

Is there something I need to do to get it to work. I had no trouble with my old Logitech prior to this.

 

If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated.

It's exactly the same method as the X52,

first of all delete all joystick assignments within DCS, then download the Saitek software found here:

All you need to do is manually assign each key you want for the part of the joystick within that software, save the profile and launch it :)

Re-mapping some of the key commands in BS does not work. You should just use the defaults. Just map the defaults in your profile set up. Be sure you are mapping the correct buttons - left ctrl, right shift etc. When you edit your X45 profile make sure you save it each time and also enable it with its new mappings before you start BS.
