baboeska Posted July 31, 2023 Share Posted July 31, 2023 (edited) I'm just curious, is DIrect X Texture Compression 5 algorithm followed to the letter for terrain texture mip map generation, or, have short cuts been taken by the development team? That's a tricky thing to get right. I believe that DXTC5 format issues may result in DXVK translation issues re DCS on Linux, while Windows can brute force through the errors, fine tuned machines tend to be more sensitive to bad data.
