My Arduino UNO has to be manually connected to the Connect Serial port via the ComPort before every start with DCS. This doesn't work automatically. Is that on purpose or am I making a mistake.

You have to start the arduino connection software manually.  It's easier to do this before DCS, but only because it's easier to open the folder to access the files.

I suppose you could write a script to start both automatically, but that's not the way it's originally set up.

I'm using script multiple-com-ports.cmd, which is auto started at Windows boot. I have configured the script with the 2 com ports use.

If have to adjust any Arduino code, the script has to be stopped/killed manually. And after the upload of code to Arduino, restarted manually.

It's ok to use the script with only one com-port also.

I start about 30 COM ports via the multiple-com-script. Thats no problem. You can do this at any time you want. You can end it and restart even duribg flight
