does the eurofighter nve button link the pirate irst picture to the hmd, and the flir button link the litning 3 tgp picture to the hmd?

NVE = Night Vision Enhancement

It was meant to project the NVE cameras' video imagery on the HMSS, when they are worn. NVE cameras never made it into service though. The FLIR pushbutton is meant to select the PIRATE FLIR video image on the HMSS.
