smhbolas Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 I've followed ED's oficial guide for the installation on the Steam Deck. Added the d3d winetricks dlls, the launch command, used the recommended GE Proton 7.30 (tried new ones aswell) but i still get the shader compiler error at launch. I've attached the dcs.log to this post. Please help, i have the game running on my rig, have bought the F5E and A10C modules and i want to be able to fly on the go, as i spend a lot of time away from my rig. I've contacted support and have been told that the guide was written for version 2.7 so they cannot guarantee that 2.9 will run o the Steam Deck. They suggested I discussed this issue here. Can anyone help? dcs.log
Mogster Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 (edited) https://github.com/opentrack/opentrack/issues/1695 These threads could help? I love my SD but I’m not sure how much satisfaction there is to be had from mobile DCS, other than as a project and just seeing it work. Wouldn’t it be better to play something else while you’re away from your desktop? Maybe? Edited October 22, 2023 by Mogster
