daniellegraham Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 (edited) Hi forks, I just got my Quest 3 and I found that the IHADSS crosshair is not at the center of my eye. And I changed back to my Pico 4 and there is no such issue at all. I am sure it is not the sitting height problem coz no matter how I move my head or changing my stance, the LOS is remaining higher than where it used to be. With this problem, I cant even boresight the IHADSS. It never align unless I nod my head down and stare my eye up. Edited October 21, 2023 by daniellegraham
Tepnox Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 (edited) Weird. Have a Quest 3 (besides Quest Pro) myself and tinker with some settings recently since DCS 2.9 dropped. I do not have the issue you describe. IHADSS perfectly centered in my right eye. Running DCS MT (Standalone) with OpenXR and OpenXR Toolkit for some extra sharpening & fixed foveated FOV. daniellegraham Posted October 21, 2023 Author Posted October 21, 2023 After you said you had no issue, I returned to the game and re-adjust the headset. It seems that I have to tilt my headset downward to the floor as much as possible to make the LOS at the front of my eye, which is very uncomfortable and puts all the pressure on my cheek.
CidTheViking Posted October 22, 2023 Posted October 22, 2023 I have the same issue with the Quest 3 and the Pimax Crystal. I have to look way down to get it centered in the headset which is not ideal. There is another thread going with this issue but no solution yet.

I pasted 4 layers of soft contact pad at the top of the frame to make the upper part thicker than it was. Now it tilts down when I put it on my face.
TerrorMango Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 (edited) Try the "DAP" keybinds (Display Adjust Panel) to shift the IHADSS up/down etc. Had this issue with the Quest 2 previously, and solved it with this. Edit: Don't do this! It completely shifts the image, meaning waypoints, CPG crosshair etc. will all be off as well! Edited October 31, 2023 by TerrorMango
