Flyby Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I found this article over at Aviation Weekly. Since we're looking forward to a DCS release of the A10 in the future, I thought you guys might enjoy this article: http://www.aviationweek.com/aw/generic/story.jsp?id=news/omA10309.xml&headline=Reworking%20The%20A-10%20Wing&channel=mro Hope you find it interesting. Flyby out The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy.
mvsgas Posted March 22, 2009 Posted March 22, 2009 I thought that was part of the A-10C update, is it not? To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Flyby Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 I don't think this article is about an upgrade issue, as in to the A10c, but has more to do with the wear and tear issues on the airframe of the fleet. They are just getting old, and showing their age in some areas. Flyby out The U.S. Congress is the best governing body that BIG money can buy.
