First of all I'm new to this forum, so hello to everyone here. I've had Lock On for some time (years even, haha), but never really got into it. Recently I started playing it a bit more extensively, and after watching the excellent training videos from Flanker training I'm finding this game more and more satisfying, then I saw Black Shark videos and my passion for simulations was rekindled, but enough of this, to the problem.

I'am unable to refuel in the air. I'm using the 1.02 version of Lock On, and as far as I know the whole process after connection has been made is supposed to be scripted, is that right? Well, in my case the F-15 pulls up as soon as I connect and crashes into the tanker. On the Russian side the Su-33 does exactly the same, except there I can fight the controls with my joystick to keep the plane levelled and connected to the flexible hose, plus there is more room behind the tanker's wings. But it takes a lot of effort. Failing that, both planes jump up about 20 metres up. I kind of gather that at the moment of connection the altitude and velocity holds kick in, except, the altitude hold makes the plane jump up 20m first. Anyone had similar problems?

I have posted this problem on the Lockonfiles forum, but had no answer yet. Help, anyone?

I tried the A-10, and have some more details on it. As soon as the tanker announces the connection, there's "PATH HOLD" on the HUD, which after about two seconds changes to "ALT HOLD", there's no fuel pumping sound, and the plane slowly increases its altitude. At which point I have to disengage the altitude hold, the velocity hold and try again. With the same result.

I've tried it now with a vanilla install of Lock On, and patched to 1.02.
