Infiniti3d Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I reinstalled BS after getting a new serial from ED ( thanks for that BTW). I decided to install it in a seperate folder where normally Pictures and My documents are, created a Folder there and named it Games and installed. After install was finished i removed the lua-direct_output.dll, mentioned in other Thread causing problems with X52 and X52pro, from the bin\stable folder and started the game, previous i had huge Lag and stutter, but for some reason all stutter and lag is gone, its like playing a different game:D Also had Launcher.exe problems with previous install, it didn't showed up yet! Oh i did some ram timing adjustment btw, i let the BIOS decide the timing, exept for 2T. I dont know what caused it to let the game run so perfect but all i can remember is listed above, i didn't change drivers. It migh be a stange post but people with lag and stutter might look at some of the change's i made and maybe get rid of it also. Happy!!:pilotfly:

Infiniti3d Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 (edited) Might want to correct your statements about ED on the guru3d forum, then? ;) Not really becouse i had some bad expirience with them in the past, they must comeup with some proper engine before i buy them products again. I stated that BS is running alot better now, unfotunately some intresting stuf is going on in the Sim World so ED might consider to hurry a bit becouse if they plan a release with the same difference between LOMAC and BS within 3-4 years i am pretty certain by that time someting is released that blows our mind away. BS didn't. And some people now what i mean by something else. I am a member over there:) BTW i dont think many people post in different forums under the same name. I do becouse its fair and objective, its like driving trough a red sign with stolen licence plate's if you dont. I'am also proude btw to drive my 4.5L V8 Infiniti FX Edited April 4, 2009 by Infiniti3d
EtherealN Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 (edited) ... if they plan a release with the same difference between LOMAC and BS within 3-4 years i am pretty certain by that time someting is released that blows our mind away. BS didn't. First off, release schedule for the next DCS product is about 9 months away, not 3-4 years. Secondly, speak for yourself. BS did blow my mind away. ;) I've not had any issues with it and the level of detail in the simulation is exactly what I've been begging developers for ever since I first installed that little arcade game known as Microsoft Flight Simulator. ;) BTW i dont think many people post in different forums under the same name. I do becouse its fair and objective, its like driving trough a red sign with stolen licence plate's if you dont. I dunno, I saw a lot of names being identical there to here when I read that thread. In my own case, the only times I use different screen names is when I either use my RL name (which is my default for forums, but in game forums there's a tradition of having a nom de guerre so might as well go along with that) or the name of a character if it's an mumorpoger. You're not unique. :P For most intents and purposes, I'd have been using that red light analogy for posting with an alias at all, but in this particular subculture it doesn't really apply.
