repored earlier Night time exterior lights range

For the last several months the hornets external lights have become unusable past a very short range, roughly 1 mile. Of course they used to be way way too bright, but this is too big an adjustment the other way. Night formation is extremely difficult due to this. Can be easily reproduced by  going to f2 view, with all lights on full, and scrolling the view away until the lights disappear. There's a very unnatural fade out at the same range, every time. Tested with all DLSS/DLAA options, visib range settings, gamma options thronullugh the whole scale. Screenshots attached are all head on, zooming away from the plane. In reality aircraft nav lights and strobes are visible from miles and miles away, and are usually much easier to spot than daytime traffic.
