Yskonyn Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 (edited) I was hesitant to put this thread here, but no other forum really does qualify either. Appologies if I should've posted this elsewhere. I'd like to use either Shoot or VAC with BS to control the radio commands and for that I need to a speech recognition engine. Windows Vista has the Microsoft Speech Engine installed, but my OS is of the dutch language and for the speech engine to work you need an english OS. Vista Ultimate has the option to switch languages on the fly, but I am using Home Premium which hasn't got that option. I am sure there are more people without an english OS and so I wonder if there's a way to get the speech recognition going in Vista Home as well or if there's a way to change language. Also, if that's not possible, are there other 3rd party speech engines which can be used with VAC or Shoot and can be installed on Vista Home, regardless of language setting? Thanks very much!
