Emre Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 First DCS was not launching, so I tried to do full repair a couple of times which didn't fix the issue. Then I decided to uninstall DCS, after the uninstall I removed all of the leftover files. When installing again I get a warning saying "Can't find the file (2)". But when I press ok on the warning it does install, however, DCS still doesn't launch after installation is complete. I have updated my GPU drivers, and Windows to the latest version. All anti-virus was turned off.
Solution rob10 Posted February 25, 2024 Solution Posted February 25, 2024 After you turned off your anti-virus, Windows Defender would automatically be activated. Have you tried setting exceptions for the DCS folders in it? And to confirm, you had antivirus off when you did repair? It may have quarantined a file or two such that they are now missing.
Emre Posted February 26, 2024 Author Posted February 26, 2024 After disabling Deepguard on Fsecure Antivirus DCS started launching again, thanks for the tip. 1
